Get social, be personal
In order to get truly in with social media, there's at least one thing you must remember: Be personal. Getting to know with your target group members is the first thing. Next you'll gotta get yourself "dirty" too. You will have to get personal, let us know who you are.
Instead of hiding behind a company name and logo, being faceless and emotionless entity, you need to tell us something about who is the person behind the tweets, the status updates, the video uploads and the blog posts. People are what brings us together online. The individuals and the communities.
Funny thing is, when you get honestly personal, most of us are quite okay with the marketing and business. Show some heart. Show some soul.
