Going responsive

Responsive (web) design is a very trendy thing currently. Basically it's about design the site adapt to different devices and screen sizes in a (more or less) fluid manner.

To try responsive design out in practice I decided to make a new design for this little blog. And boy did I do some.

I wanted the new look be clear, simple and spacious, yet kind of soft. The softness I created with using a scruffy surface like a recycled paper as the background and with Allura font for headers and such. I also recycled some elements, colors and such from the previous design(s).

The layout changes a bit on the different sizes: On the narrow versions the sidebar drops down below the content and the main navigation position and look changes. The font sizes vary too. However the basic "feeling" of the site remains the same.

The design isn't completely fluid, but the four different stages should be enough for now. I hope. Things may change, cause that's how I work. Please let me know if there's any problem and I don't mind hearing if there's no problem at all!

This is a reader supported blog without paywalls and advertisement. If you appreciate my work and want to help me rewild the internet, please consider becoming a free or paid patron today. I can't do this without the support of readers like you. So if you can to contribute financially, I would really appreciate your help.
