Yes, you are a serious businessperson. Yes, we know that. But what we don't know is you are human. And it's human to want to have fun and be entertained. Girls just want to have fun, but so do boys, women and men. Even if we won't always admit it.
Your business can afford a little joking around. Showing some self-irony makes you seem more sympathetic and even more interesting. If you are being entertained you will be more entertaining.
If tweeting, sharing and blogging starts to feel too serious, boring, forced and stuck-up, it won't do service to anyone. You will dislike it after a while and your followers, friends and readers will flee.
