Darkness
First it's like going blind all of a sudden. There's nothing there, eyes are open, but it's as if they were closed. Only those flashes of light, colored spots floating everywhere.
Then the shapes start to show. Shapes and all the smallest sources of light.
I stand in the dark, waiting for my eyes to get used to it. It takes only a moment. Suddenly I see all the creatures of night.
Somewhere I hear a lonely fox barking. It sounds like a high pitched dog bark recorded and played backwards.
Moon appears in between the clouds, scaring the creatures of night away. It winks at me, I wink back. We have a thing going on.
