Inspiration

Inspirational may be overused word, but here's a thing you should remember: Different things do inspire different people. Some of us are inspired by ugliness, some beauty, some by their kids, some by their pets. You can never tell really what inspires the person next to you. If I don't like children and can't find anything inspiring about them, that other one may be inspired by the cuteness she sees in them or by the things they say and do.

Basically inspiration leads to a creation of something. Something triggers the mind on imagining something new or at least "new" and usually somehow implementing the imagined. In my not-too-humble opinion the implementation doesn't have to happen instantly and it doesn't have to always lead to exactly what was being imagined. Sometimes being inspired means I want to create just something, anything. That may not be as fruitful as an inspiration with a specific idea. Sometimes inspiration leads to another inspiration.

What inspires me? I cannot always tell, it really depends. Mist, sunsets and sunrises. Silence, blank spaces and empty notebooks. Cute guy's eyes. Soft cats stretching in a spot of light. Dragonflies flying by. Thunderstorms and lightning.
